Here at the Kenmore Live Studio judges Kari Karch of the Kenmore Live Studio, Tony Galzin of MK, and Melissa Graham of Purple Asparagus introduce themselves to the audience. Michelle Garcia of Bleeding Heart Bakery and Mindy Gohr of Bittersweet Pastry Shop then introduce themselves before kicking off a cooking competition, pitting their two modern-day gingerbread houses against one another. Mindy first presents her modern-day gingerbread house, followed by Michelle and her take on a sustainable living gingerbread home. After much deliberation, the judges then deliver their final judgment in the Modern-Day Gingerbread War.
